Job Overview

The Perth legal practice is seeking a recent graduate or junior lawyer to join a high performing, collaborative and supportive team. This role provides an opportunity to develop experience in the delivery of various legal services to diverse clients, with exposure to a wide portfolio of clients including large multinationals, Australian listed companies, and not-for-profits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake research and prepare advice on federal tax advisory and dispute resolution, general corporate and commercial law, advising on and implementing transactions and establishing new structures.
  • Prepare submissions to government bodies, including the Australian Taxation Office, Foreign Investment Review Board / Department of Treasury, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
  • Prepare for proceedings in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal or the Federal Court, and advise clients on entity structures and regulatory approvals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing expert legal advice and support to meet their business needs.

This role requires excellent communication skills, strong writing abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have recently graduated (or will graduate in 2025) or be a junior lawyer (1-3 years PQE), with a passion for developing their legal skills across a broad range of service offerings.
