Our organization values expertise in multiple fields. In the role of Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.

  • Advising on legal governance, mining practices, employment laws, procurement processes and compliance
  • Supporting mergers, acquisitions and divestment transactions by conducting due diligence and preparing transaction documentation
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex legal agreements
  • Monitoring and assessing regulatory compliance with relevant legislation, ASX Listing Rules and other regulations
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote strong governance and risk management practices
  • Managing relationships with external advisors and stakeholders
  • Ensuring alignment with our policies, safety standards and code of conduct
  • Assisting with company secretarial activities

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you'll be responsible for delivering pragmatic, commercially sound legal advice in a dynamic business environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Delivering strategic legal advice and collaborating with leadership teams
  • Tertiary qualification in Law and admitted to practice in Western Australia
  • Strong working knowledge of the legal regime applicable to mining and exploration in Western Australia
  • Proven experience in M&A transactions, commercial negotiations and regulatory compliance
  • Experience across corporate, commercial, employment, litigation and regulatory matters is desirable
