We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Coach to join our team at the Parramatta Aquatic Centre. As a key member of our health and wellness team, you will be responsible for delivering a safe, enjoyable, and hygienic facility to the community and user groups on the gym floor.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the Health and Wellness areas of the facility are well maintained and any maintenance issues are actioned or reported in a timely manner.
- Gym floor supervision of facility users, promoting the correct and safe use of equipment.
- Carry out initial fitness assessments and review members' individual programs.
- Assist with member enquiries and lead conversion to strengthen financial and social outcomes.
- Plan and implement fitness programs to achieve both short- and long-term goals of our members.
- Plan and instruct circuit style group exercise sessions ensuring the safety of participants and surrounding patrons.
- Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent.
- Registered Exercise Professional with AUSactive in the Gym Instructor registration category.
- Current Australian First Aid (Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate.
- NSW Working with Children Clearance.
- An attractive hourly rate plus 25% casual loading, and weekend penalty rates.
