About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at Parramatta Aquatic Centre. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality aquatic education and water safety programs to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons to students, focusing on safety and variety.
  • Plan and prepare lesson content to meet the needs of students, including those with special needs.
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
  • Ensure the maintenance of teaching equipment and facilities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Current Australian Swimming & Water Safety qualification.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • NSW Working with Children Check.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in swim teaching/coaching at all levels from infants to squads.
  • First aid certificate.
  • Current Australian Teacher of Infant & Preschool qualification.
  • Current Australian Teacher of Access & Inclusion qualification.
  • Current Australian Teacher of Adult qualification.
  • Current Australian Teacher of Competitive Strokes qualification.
  • Pool Lifeguard qualification.
