Technical Field Service Specialist

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to handle equipment installations, maintenance and repair in Western Australia.

This role involves providing quality product support to customers via visits, telephone and email.

  • Develop and implement technical service functions for our equipment.
  • Perform equipment installations, preventive maintenance and repairs on our equipment.
  • Interface with customers to provide quality product support.
  • Diagnose faults, perform urgent repairs and participate in a rotating weekly after-hours roster.
  • Provide applications, user and technical training.
  • File product complaints according to company procedures.
  • Assist with spare parts inventory management.
  • Identify training needs and make recommendations.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Document and update internal procedures.
  • Manage and maintain equipment and spares database file through accurate documentation of movement, tracking and repair statuses.
Requirements
  • Trade certificate or technical diploma with strong hands-on technical service experience.
  • Restricted electrical license.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, repair, modify, overhaul or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment components.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Western Australia.
  • Flexibility to carry out work duties occasionally beyond ordinary working hours.
