We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Karlawinda Gold Project, located near Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The Karlawinda Gold Project is a high-quality, long-life open-pit gold mine owned by Capricorn Metals. It is one of the newest and most productive gold operations in the state, with a projected mine life of over a decade and ongoing production exceeding 100,000 ounces of gold per year.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in engineering fabrication or equivalent. You should have experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, Epiroc, and other brands.

Your key responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, and timely repairs of heavy mobile plant equipment.

You will also need to possess excellent communication skills, a highly motivated attitude, and the ability to work independently. Additionally, a HR Driver's Licence is preferable, and good knowledge of work health & safety procedures and policies is essential.
