Merchandise Allocation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Allocation Specialist to join our planning team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in driving sales and margin through effective merchandise allocation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of merchandising strategies to drive sales and margin
  • Allocate products to stores and online channels based on sales trends, inventory levels, demographics, and promotional activity
  • Monitor inventory performance, manage stock transfers, and optimize the flow of aged, end-of-line, and discontinued products
  • Collaborate with planners, merchandisers, retail teams, DC, and internal departments to execute allocation strategies and maintain inventory efficiency
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in merchandise allocation or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in retail analytics tools and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
