The Role

Based at our Loganholme HQ Distribution Centre, this Full Time role is for a numbers whiz with a knack for spotting what others miss. We\'re on the lookout for an Inventory Control Specialist to keep our Distribution Centre running like a well-oiled machine. From tracking trends in inventory data to solving stock mysteries and preventing losses, you\'ll be the go-to person for keeping our stock accurate, efficient, and on point. You\'ll work closely with teams across the business, turn complex data into simple, smart decisions, and help us hit that magic 99.98% inventory accuracy. Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Review inventory data, identify trends, and catch anomalies.
  • Issue Investigation: Dig into stock discrepancies and fulfillment errors to find the root cause.
  • System Audits: Perform regular audits to ensure inventory records are accurate.
  • Loss Prevention: Develop and apply strategies to minimize shrinkage and inventory losses.
  • Incident Reporting: Document findings, highlight risks, and recommend solutions to inventory related issues
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with all teams to refine inventory workflows including a detailed inventory plan to maintain DC inventory accuracy 99.98%
  • Insight Sharing: Provide data-driven recommendations to buying and merchandising teams.
  • Reporting: Turn complex inventory data into clear, actionable reports.
  • Manage all reworks in DC, including gathering of information from appropriate sources, time and motion to define charge rate, request labour from DC supervisor, see through execution of rework, add chargeback to appropriate department or supplier.
  • Implement and promote initiatives aligned with our values that will add to the business by improving either efficiency, culture, or safety
