Inventory Management Professional

This is a challenging opportunity to lead our inventory management efforts. Based at our logistics centre, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stock levels are accurate and efficient.

You will work closely with teams across the business to turn complex data into simple, smart decisions and help us achieve our goal of 99.98% inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Review inventory data, identify trends, and catch anomalies.
  • Issue Investigation: Dig into stock discrepancies and fulfillment errors to find the root cause.
  • System Audits: Perform regular audits to ensure inventory records are accurate.
  • Loss Prevention: Develop and apply strategies to minimize shrinkage and inventory losses.
  • Incident Reporting: Document findings, highlight risks, and recommend solutions to inventory related issues.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with all teams to refine inventory workflows including a detailed inventory plan to maintain DC inventory accuracy =>99.98%.
  • Insight Sharing: Provide data-driven recommendations to buying and merchandising teams.
  • Reporting: Turn complex inventory data into clear, actionable reports.

You will also be responsible for managing all reworks in DC, including gathering of information from appropriate sources, time and motion to define charge rate, request labour form DC supervisor, see through execution of rework, add chargeback to appropriate department or supplier.

Requirements:
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategies to optimize operations.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving complex issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Coordinating multiple activities and managing resources efficiently.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding financial reports.
  • Analytical Skills: Analyzing data to inform decision-making and improve processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety.
