Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. The successful candidate will report into the Operations Manager and be responsible for developing and implementing inventory control procedures to ensure high accuracy levels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WMS and inventory tracking systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to interpret inventory data. They will also possess strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, as well as effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure high accuracy levels.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full stocktakes to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper tracking and documentation of stock movements, including inbound, outbound, and storage.
  • Minimize stock write-offs, losses, and damages through best practices in inventory management.
  • Utilize SAP to track inventory levels and generate reports.
  • Identify inefficiencies in inventory management and implement process improvements.
  • Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to optimize space utilization and stock rotation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of WMS and inventory tracking systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory data.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to warehousing and logistics.
