Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Restaurant Manager to lead our food and beverage team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to drive business growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
  • To supervise and train a team of 20+ staff members, promoting a positive work culture and adhering to operational standards.
  • To collaborate with kitchen and bar management teams to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance.
  • To maintain accurate records, monitor performance metrics, and implement data-driven decisions to optimize business outcomes.

Leadership & Staffing:

  • To recruit, train, mentor, and schedule FOH staff effectively.
  • To foster a positive and accountable team culture aligned with our hotel's values, promoting employee engagement and retention.
  • To conduct regular performance appraisals and address underperformance constructively, providing development opportunities for team members.

Customer Experience:

  • To resolve guest complaints efficiently and diplomatically, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • To monitor and respond to online feedback, using it as a valuable source of information to improve services and products.
  • To build strong relationships with regular patrons and special event clients, identifying new business opportunities and enhancing revenue streams.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a restaurant or F&B management role, preferably with a track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional results.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities, with a proven track record of resolving conflicts and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of WA liquor licensing and RSA compliance regulations, ensuring the restaurant operates within legal boundaries.
  • Experience with POS and booking systems, with a strong understanding of how to leverage technology to drive business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and other shifts as required, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Passion for food, wine, and hospitality, with a deep understanding of industry trends and developments.
