Mater Misericordiae Limited (MML) is seeking applications for a
Non-Executive Director
to join the MML Board from late 2025.

As a
Non-Executive Director
, you will play a critical role in guiding Mater's strategic direction, ensuring good governance, and upholding the organisation's Mission and Values: compassion, dignity, integrity, and service. You will be joining a values-driven Board committed to strong stewardship, long-term sustainability, and transformational leadership in the Australian healthcare landscape.
Key Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated alignment with the Mercy and Mater Mission and Values, and the ability and willingness to work within this ethos, regardless of faith background.
Proven experience at board level, with a strong working knowledge of contemporary corporate governance systems and frameworks, and the ability to apply this knowledge to enhance organisational performance.
Demonstrated ability to contribute actively to strategic planning.
Proven capability to critically analyse organisational financial and operational performance by applying relevant skills, experience, and personal attributes.
(Preferred) Deep industry knowledge and proven senior leadership experience within the health sector, including an understanding of the current trends, challenges, and opportunities in the industry.
