Community Support Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support services, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
This role involves providing practical assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and community access. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop personalized support plans to enhance their independence and well-being.
As a Community Support Specialist, you will be responsible for driving clients to appointments and activities, and ensuring their safe transportation. You will also need to maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- A current WA Drivers licence is required.
- You must hold an NDIS clearance check or National Police certificate.
- First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
- A good understanding of the English language is necessary for effective communication with clients.
- You must own a reliable motor vehicle suitable for transporting clients.
