We're seeking a compassionate and patient Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our Accommodation Services team, you'll provide person-centred support that helps participants live with independence and dignity.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Support individuals with daily living, personal care, and routines.">
  • Assist with cooking, cleaning, and household tasks to create a safe and comfortable home environment.">
  • Encourage participants to build independence and connect meaningfully with their community.">
  • Administer medication and follow support plans with professionalism.">
  • Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and coordinators to provide the best possible care.">
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure quality and compliance.">

Qualifications and Skills:

">

We're looking for someone with a calm and respectful approach, strong teamwork and communication skills, patience, resilience, and confidence in managing day-to-day challenges. Experience in disability support, aged care, mental health, or community services is highly regarded.

Requirements:

You'll need a valid Driver's Licence, reliable transport, Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children's Check, and First Aid certification (we can help you obtain these if needed). You should also be flexible to work a range of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
