Operational Efficiency Specialist

As an Operational Efficiency Specialist, you will work closely with stakeholders across the firm to analyse business needs, provide data-driven recommendations, and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements for client reporting, projects and process improvements.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, including Partners and other Lawyers, to understand data sets required and their purpose.
  • Extracting insights from large datasets to make data-driven recommendations and presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to optimise data management processes and operational effectiveness.

A strong understanding of data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, SSRS and PowerBI, is essential for success in this role.

Some of the key skills and attributes we are looking for in a successful candidate include:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst, ideally with experience gained in a law firm or professional services setting.
  • A high level of understanding in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Aderant Expert or Legal Practice Management systems would be advantageous.
