We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Manager to join our team at Brisbane Airport.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time, shift-based position responsible for managing and overseeing the operational environment within Landside Operations of Brisbane Airport.
  • The successful candidate will ensure smooth functioning of operations, incident management, and staff coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Maintain communication with stakeholders, contractors, and staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure a hands-on approach when necessary.
  • Incident Management: Respond to both planned and unplanned incidents, monitor CCTV systems, and manage incidents within car parks, BAC assets, and Kerbside operations.
  • Staff Coordination and Supervision: Ensure effective deployment of staff, supervise their performance, and assist with inquiries.
  • Customer Service and Security Oversight: Liaise with other contractors, oversee the car park management system, ensure customer satisfaction, and ensure the security of the airport premises.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OH&S policies, including training staff, ensuring compliance, and maintaining up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

  • Minimum three (3) years demonstrated experience in a similar management role, including systems and personnel management, administration and customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, high computer literacy, proven staff supervision, and decision-making ability.
  • A high level of professionalism and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Ability to act quickly and use common sense in decision-making.
