ESG & Climate Strategy Expert

This is a key role in developing strong relationships with external clients, learning about ESG and climate solutions, and guiding clients to effectively use these solutions within their specific requirements.

We are seeking an adaptable and skilled consultant who can lead cross-organization projects in diverse teams, possess excellent communication skills, and represent ESG and Climate to all levels of client management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing proactive account management and client communication strategies to drive growth and retention
  • Acting as a trusted advisor for clients, leveraging industry expertise to deliver holistic approaches to ESG and climate investing challenges
  • Serving as a domain expert on ESG and climate solutions and services
  • Building ESG and climate industry expertise to guide clients in integrating ESG and climate research into their investment processes and risk management
  • Relationship Management Focus: Achieving target renewal rates, driving revenue growth through outstanding client engagement and service

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of ESG issues, market trends, financial services, and how ESG factors impact the investment process, capital markets, and financial institutions
  • 8+ years of experience in a client-facing position in financial services or Responsible Investing
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills
  • Innovative, motivated, client-oriented, and commercially aware thinker
  • Demonstrated project management skills - define scope, resources, and timelines, and manage to deliverables
