Dispute Resolution Manager

Job Description:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispute Resolution Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert legal and technical advice on legal issues relevant to case management.

You will represent our organization at Conciliation conferences, and regularly update stakeholders about progress and outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal and technical advice on legal issues relevant to case management
  • Represent our organization at Conciliation conferences
  • Regularly update stakeholders about progress and outcomes

 

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience within the workers' compensation industry and an in-depth understanding of workers' compensation legislation
  • Extensive experience in the workers' compensation eligibility process, case management, and technical management
  • Experience in dispute resolution
  • Keen ability to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and driven to achieve outcomes

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dispute resolution role is preferred but not essential
  • Significant experience in claims management in the workers' compensation scheme
  • Strong working knowledge of the Accident Compensation Act 1985 and medical terminology
