Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to join our team.
This role will provide essential support to our HSE leadership and project teams across the business, ensuring high standards of health, safety and environmental practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing tender documentation for health and safety.
- Preparing HSE start-up documentation for projects.
- Assisting HSE lead as required.
- Providing weekly and monthly statistical reports for projects to HSE lead.
- Supporting site-based HSE advisors.
- Support multi-plant health and safety requirements in the field and promote the highest level of safety for our workers on site.
- Conduct toolbox and daily inspections.
- Support supervision and provide health and safety notifications to discuss at pre-start meetings.
- Liaise with site management and supervision to create risk and hazard registers for sites.
- Conduct and coordinate health and safety inspections on site.
- Provide training to workers on safety management systems and site safety requirements.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in construction or a similar industry.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in mining resources.
- Client inductions: RTIO, FMG, BHP.
- Exposure to conducting CRAW workshops.
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419) or equivalent.
- Valid open and unrestricted driver's license.
- Construction White Card.
