Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist

The primary role of the Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist is to oversee and manage the implementation of health, safety and environmental policies across all field operations.
This includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards, maintaining accurate records and implementing corrective actions in response to incidents or near misses.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing EHS Plans: Develop, implement and maintain site-specific health, safety and environmental plans and procedures to ensure compliance with FC policies and regulations.
- Safety Administration: Manage all aspects of safety administration including risk management, EHS training, medical and security-related issues that may impact personnel or overall site safety.
- Conducting Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Investigating Incidents: Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
- Providing Training: Provide training to employees on EHS policies and procedures, including classroom-based training and on-the-job coaching.
- Communicating with Stakeholders: Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including employees, customers and management, to keep them informed of EHS initiatives and progress.
This is a critical role requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to climb 80/100-meter towers (Wind) and travel required.
