Job Summary

The On-Road Motor Assessor role at Fuse Recruitment is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in panel beating or spray-painting to excel in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the Claims team, you'll be responsible for managing end-to-end claims, determining damage causes, and ensuring the most cost-effective and timely repair methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of insured properties using virtual assessing and causation reports provided by panel suppliers.
  • Produce detailed reports outlining cause, coverage, damage, and best repair methods.
  • Review scope of works and provide expert reports to ensure the most cost-effective and timely method of repairs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities and third-party repairers.
  • Negotiate with repairers to define the scope of work and associated costing.

Requirements:

  • Panel Beating OR Spray-Painting qualifications OR relevant work experience is essential.
  • Excellent computer skills are required, with training provided for those who need it.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and demonstrate ambition to grow with the company.
  • Ability to prepare damage repair quotes and estimations.
  • Must be able to complete background checks and provide proof of full working rights in Australia to work in the insurance industry.
