Pontoon Operations Specialist

Join a dynamic team in a unique opportunity to live and work on the Great Barrier Reef. We are seeking a highly skilled Pontoon Operations Specialist to service and maintain ancillary vessels, machinery, and equipment on our Hardy Reef pontoons.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure exceptional presentation of the pontoons and auxiliary vessels.
- Vessel handling and compliance with Safety Management Systems.
- Maintenance and operation of pontoon generators and engines.
- General pontoon operational tasks.
- Undertake crew training including in-water training and vessel inductions.
- Conduct rescue and lookout duties for guests.
- Deliver professional customer service working closely with the hospitality team.
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous deckhand experience and general aptitude for maintenance and engineering.
- Ability to deliver professional customer service.
- Skill Requirements:
- Time management and strong organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work a remote 7/7 roster over weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
Certifications and Licenses:
- AMSA accredited Coxswains (Open); or Master
