Job Summary:

This role presents a unique opportunity to partner with department managers and support leaders in driving business growth, process improvements, and employee engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees throughout the employee lifecycle, including performance management, position and workforce design, remuneration, and talent development.
  • Built strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality support and advice on HR matters.
  • Support business change initiatives by improving engagement and advising on strategies that enhance performance and reduce costs.
  • Contribute to internal succession planning and work closely with Recruitment on talent sourcing.
  • Coordinate training and development requirements in partnership with the Learning and Development team.
  • Manage and advise on award interpretation, policies, and relevant legislation, particularly the Hospitality Industry General Award (HIGA).

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources with proven expertise in advising operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of award interpretation and employment legislation (HIGA knowledge highly regarded).
  • Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (Desirable).
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to commute five days a week.
