The key objective of the Bank is to be a leading and trusted digital-first bank with an initial focus on the Australian Chinese speaking retail and SME community.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Home Lending Manager to help customers with their home lending needs.
You will be responsible for home loan originations from digital leads, corporate partnerships and self-sourced channels.
This is a unique opportunity where you can work in a start-up bank where you can help design our end -end customer journey.
The ideal candidate would have a passion for growth, innovation, compliance and delivering on exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies to acquire and retain home loan customers Develop and execute strategies to acquire and retain SME customers Build strong client relationships and provide personalised lending advice Oversee loan origination, documentation quality, and submission processes and work with the Operations team to ensure all processes deliver on a seamless customer experience Ensure compliance with lending policies, industry regulations, and credit standards Collaborate with marketing, corporate partnerships, credit assessment, and product teams to refine offerings Use data and market insights to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities Resolve escalated customer issues and maintain a strong reputation for service Represent in1bank at community events Skills & Experience Proven experience in home lending, SME lending or mortgage broking Strong knowledge of credit policy, loan structuring, and financial analysis Ability to identify opportunities for product, process or policy improvement to differentiate our customer experience Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Familiarity with digital lending platforms and CRM systems Results-focused with sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities Mandarin speaking is preferred but not mandatory What Success Looks Like A growing home loan book with high customer satisfaction and retention Seamless lending processes that meet compliance and regulatory expectations Reputation as a trusted advisor and leader in the local lending market You will be joining a hybrid working environment, however initially there is an expectation to be in the Sydney based office for most of the week to enable training and familiarity with activities.in1bank is an equal opportunity employer.
