Job Title: Placements Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Placements Coordinator to join our team. This role involves working closely with academic leads and industry partners to support student placements with external agencies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have completed an associate diploma or certificate level qualification with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or training. You will possess a high level of initiative, excellent interpersonal communication skills, effective organisational administrative skills and be able to work share.

You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to problem-solve and to work at pace in a dynamic workplace. Additionally, you will have proven ability to prepare correspondence and maintain and operate database systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with key Academic leads and Industry partners to support student placements with agencies external to the University.
  • Be a primary contact for students, industry partners and staff requiring advice in relation to student placements.
  • Maintain and operate database systems related to student placements.
  • Prepare correspondence as required.

What We Offer

This is a continuing, part-time position (50%) with ideal working hours spread over 4 shorter working days. The position will be primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As we are a multi-campus University, you may be required to work across other campus locations.
