Job Description:

The Health Placement Support Hub seeks an experienced professional to fill the role of Placements Officer. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of student placements, working closely with academic leads, placement officers, and professional/industry partners.

Responsibilities include providing administrative support, managing "Fit for Professional Practice" documentation, leading compliance initiatives, and carrying out system improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support for domestic and international placements
  • Leading compliance with relevant legislation and university policies
  • Carrying out administration and utilisation of dedicated education or placements software
  • Engaging in system improvement and innovation activities
  • Assisting in recruitment of placements and establishing placement deeds
  • Undertaking a range of operational activities, including database maintenance, orientation materials, room bookings, evaluations, assessment records, management of finances, scheduling, and preparation of placements-based correspondence
  • Effectively collaborating and communicating with stakeholders

Requirements:

This is a full-time, continuing position based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. The occupant will hold an associate diploma or certificate level qualification with relevant subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or training.
