Job Description

As a Senior ICT Infrastructure and Service Delivery Lead, you will oversee the strategic and operational portfolio of NSW SES ICT Infrastructure services.

This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams to enhance and maintain server, network, and workstation environments. You will also supervise an enterprise IT Service Desk to provide consistent, high-quality support to members.

  • Partner with ICT business units and external vendors to ensure technology environments align with NSW SES objectives.
  • Deliver ICT infrastructure, assets, and software that are reliable and fit for purpose to support service outcomes.

The NSW SES is a volunteer-based agency supporting communities in NSW. Our mission is to save lives and create safer communities. We are recognized as the most versatile and widely used emergency service organization in NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proven leader of multidiscipline ICT teams (service desk, infrastructure, vendors).
  • Hands-on and supervisory experience across core infrastructure, ensuring reliability and high-quality support.
  • Strong ITIL-based service management across tracking tickets, managing assets, and documenting work.
  • Experience with desktops, laptops, servers, and networks.
  • Solid cyber security and compliance focus, including patching, vulnerability management, and hardening access and governance.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and contribute positively to projects and procurement processes.
  • Desirable: Experienced with Microsoft Intune, desktop management, and Azure AD.
  • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
