Are you a newly qualified Enrolled Nurse looking to launch your career in nursing? Look no further than our Transition to Professional Practice program, designed to provide the perfect blend of clinical experience and professional development.
As an Enrolled Nurse in our program, you will work under the direct and indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement individualized care plans with the Primary Nurse (Registered Nurse) and collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination of services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing safe and effective nursing care to patients using an individualized holistic approach related to the goals of care determined by the Primary Nurse (Registered Nurse)
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans with the Primary Nurse (Registered Nurse)
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination of services
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Participating in performance development meetings to review progress and set goals
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled nurse with recent completion of a Diploma in Nursing or Eligibility for registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse upon completion of Diploma in Nursing prior to commencement.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated evidence of recent clinical placement in an acute care setting.
