Overview
Join NSW Health's Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) as an Enrolled Nurse (EN2-5) at The Forensic Hospital, Malabar.
This casual role supports delivery of healthcare and contributes to patient care in a high-security forensic environment.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day mental health and physical health care for patients in line with recovery and forensic mental health rehabilitation principles.
Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating health issues and nursing care.
Integrate therapeutic goals with security requirements while maintaining safety of patients, staff and visitors.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support complex patient needs.
Qualifications
Currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN).
Demonstrated skills and knowledge in contemporary mental health nursing.
Location and Team
The Forensic Hospital is a high-security forensic mental health facility in New South Wales, operated by Justice Health NSW.
A multidisciplinary team provides care across the clinical spectrum from high dependency to rehabilitation.
