Overview

Join NSW Health's Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) as an Enrolled Nurse (EN2-5) at The Forensic Hospital, Malabar. This casual role supports delivery of healthcare and contributes to patient care in a high-security forensic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day mental health and physical health care for patients in line with recovery and forensic mental health rehabilitation principles.
  • Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating health issues and nursing care.
  • Integrate therapeutic goals with security requirements while maintaining safety of patients, staff and visitors.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support complex patient needs.
Qualifications
  • Currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN).
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in contemporary mental health nursing.
Location and Team

The Forensic Hospital is a high-security forensic mental health facility in New South Wales, operated by Justice Health NSW. A multidisciplinary team provides care across the clinical spectrum from high dependency to rehabilitation.
