We are seeking highly experienced IT professionals to join our team as Technical Specialists. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure within Department of Education schools, providing technical support services to staff and students, and working collaboratively with school stakeholders.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000 per annum, based on pro-rata 40 hours per week and 46 working weeks per year. We offer competitive pay rates and review staff pay rates based on performance.

Job Description

As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and servicing Windows and Apple devices on an enterprise scale
  • Administering Hyper-V virtualized server environments
  • Administering various Windows and Linux-based servers
  • Providing cloud-based service management and administration
  • Managing mobile device deployment and administration
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' industry experience, including previous experience within the TSSP program or extensive experience within the education sector
  • Excellent language and communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fault-find through a systematic process of observation and elimination
  • Australian citizenship or Australian permanent residency
  • Current driver's license and reliable motor vehicle
