Facility Management Position

As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of operations at a state-of-the-art data centre. You will oversee day-to-day activities, manage facility contractors, and ensure quality delivery of services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of data centres, including electrical and mechanical configurations, rack management, telecommunications connectivity, design, and installation. They will also have a good understanding of high-density data centre power, cooling approaches, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations at the data centre, including managing facility contractors and overseeing maintenance.
  • Ensure quality delivery of services to customers.
  • Oversee the management of staff and contractors.
  • Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of data centres, including electrical and mechanical configurations, rack management, design, and installation.
  • Understanding of high-density data centre power, cooling approaches, and technologies.
  • Experience with telecommunications and connectivity.
  • Knowledge of cabling and cable management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and BMS systems.
  • Exceptional planning, organizing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
