Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team in a key role within the Data Centre environment.

The successful candidate will provide high level technical planning, execution and mentoring within the Data Centre team. They will work cooperatively with technical staff across the Division to ensure Data Centre deliverables are met on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritise, diagnose and investigate causes of incidents and resolve issues within a complex technological environment.
  • Contribute to maintenance and installation, monitor and report on infrastructure performance to enable service delivery. Resolve issues or refer to others for assistance.
  • Contribute to the identification, assessment and briefing to staff and management of new and emerging software technologies, products, methods, techniques and services.
  • Assist with the introduction and use of technologies, methodologies, tools and services to match overall current and future business requirements.
  • Engage with vendors, other business units and management to contribute to successful working relationships that enhance the effective management of the Data Centre environment.
  • Document the storage and server environments and related systems, formulate procedures and support material to assist in efficient and effective Data Centre operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with enterprise environment both Windows OS and VMWare.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with enterprise grade Hardware: Servers, NAS/SAN, HCI Infrastructure.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
