Lead a Team of Expert Mental Health Professionals

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Clinical Psychologist Leader to join our dynamic team at the Women's and Children's Health Network. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced clinical psychologist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the development of innovative mental health services for children, adolescents, and their families.

About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to a team of psychologists and other mental health professionals. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to improve mental health outcomes for our patients, particularly those experiencing chronic pain.

  • You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality psychological services to inpatients and outpatients, as well as via consultation to other community services.
  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive treatment plans that cater to the diverse needs of our patients, including children, adolescents, and young adults.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.
Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An advanced degree in psychology (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia within an Endorsed Area of Practice - Clinical/Health.
  • Approved supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia at all levels of supervision (primary and secondary).
  • Extensive experience in clinical leadership, program development, and service coordination in child and adolescent mental health settings.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, develop effective relationships with stakeholders, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
