We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network in South Australia.

Job Overview

This is a full-time, temporary 12-month position based within the Chronic Pain Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, coordination, and implementation of high-quality psychological and therapeutic services for children referred to the Paediatric Chronic Pain Service.

The role involves working closely with key stakeholders to apply national and state health reforms and service quality and workforce development initiatives. You will also provide leadership and expertise in developing clinical governance systems to ensure outcomes consistent with Psychology and Allied Health standards.

About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement high-quality psychological and therapeutic services for children referred to the Paediatric Chronic Pain Service.
  • Lead the application of national and state health reforms and service quality and workforce development initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in developing clinical governance systems to ensure outcomes consistent with Psychology and Allied Health standards.
  • Closely collaborate with the Principal Discipline Leads on inter-professional initiatives and acts as a consultant and professional advisor on Psychology professional issues.
