Ambulance Transport Attendant Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Ambulance Transport Attendant. This is a dynamic role that requires strong patient care skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment during transportation, while maintaining positive working relationships with clients. Key aspects of the role include:

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and interventions as required.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
  • Working effectively in a team environment to deliver seamless patient care.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must possess:

  • A qualification in Ambulance Transport Attendant, Ambulance Officer, or Division 1 Registered Nurse.
  • Recent graduates from the Diploma of Paramedical Science or Bachelor level education must have completed 400 supervised, clinical on-road placement hours.
  • A current Victorian Driver's License and ability to drive in city and rural traffic conditions.
  • Experience in non-emergency patient transport is desirable but not essential.
  • A satisfactory National Police Check and Working With Children Check.
