Disability Support Worker Role
  • Deliver exceptional personal care and domestic support to clients with physical disabilities, leveraging expert knowledge of transfers, equipment use, and hoisting.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks such as showering, dressing, and providing comprehensive transportation solutions.
  • Cultivate strong rapport with clients, embodying empathy, patience, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting people with disabilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with care teams, incorporating professional guidance and supporting clients in undertaking physio programs and community access initiatives.
  • Possess excellent judgment, common sense, listening skills, and a commitment to our values.
  • Be willing to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers, with some short shifts and active night shifts.
  • Hold a full driver's license and be comfortable providing transport in your own vehicle (reimbursed costs apply).
