Intensive Care Registrar Job Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work with a renowned expert in Intensive Care, Professor David Tuxen, who has gained international recognition for his Mechanical Ventilation of Asthma research.

Northeast Health Wangaratta is a major regional health service and specialist referral facility for Northeast Victoria. Our hospital provides comprehensive care to approximately 102,000 people, performing over 6,500 procedures annually and having more than 19,000 inpatient episodes and 30,000 Emergency Department attendances per year.

We are accredited by the College of Intensive Care Medicine for basic foundation training, making this an ideal opportunity for doctors interested in pursuing ICU training. The position requires adherence to our strategic plan's purpose and values, as well as compliance with the Code of Behaviour for staff.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must have General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia, experience in Intensive Care, a minimum of PGY3 or above, ability to comply with the "Behavioural Outcomes" for this role, current National Police Check, current Working with Children Check, and demonstrated commitment to rural/regional practice.
