About the Role

You will be at the forefront of providing exceptional patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of Australians as a Medical Specialist Collector.

As part of our network of dedicated collectors, you will support local communities and play an integral part in our mission to be the best pathology provider in Australia.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting blood and non-blood samples with care and attention to detail
  • Maintaining accurate records for every patient and sample
  • Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
  • Liaising with various individuals including customers, clinic staff and couriers

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or Certificate III in Pathology Collection or healthcare background
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with high level of empathy
  • Strong organisational skills, managing time effectively and maintaining attention to detail
  • Capacity to work autonomously, sometimes independently in a solo clinic
  • Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
  • Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Citizenship or residency requirements for Australia or New Zealand, or valid visa permitting work
  • Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B required
  • Other vaccinations based on location may be necessary
