Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Service Director to lead our team at KU Faulconbridge Children's Centre. This is a permanent, full-time position working 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

The Service Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the centre, ensuring the highest quality care and education for our children. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement programs that promote children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of educators to provide high-quality care and education
  • Develop and implement programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Monitor and evaluate the centre's performance to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with families and the local community
  • Collaborate with the centre's management team to achieve organisational goals

Requirements

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
  • Completed Child Protection Training and demonstrated understanding of current child-safe practices
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, as well as separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
