**Job Title: Safety and Injury Management Officer**

The role of the Safety and Injury Management Officer is to facilitate effective safety and injury management data across the organization.

This officer will be responsible for administering elements within the Safety and Injury Management Systems on a day-to-day basis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • General safety administration
  • Administration of various electronic platforms
  • Safety forum administration
  • Administration of the national Duress platform
  • Provide administrative and systems support to staff in relation to the injury management data system, including access rights
  • Design, create and implement reports
  • Problem solving and solutioning of data issues
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with operational procedures including data classification
  • Conduct quality assurance activities including data cleansing in relation to the injury management data management system
  • Work collaboratively with team members to improve and streamline processes
  • Complete data management activities to populate reports monthly and other reporting as required
  • Process invoices including but not limited to workers compensation policy renewal and early intervention invoices
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as required

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Experience in safety and injury data systems management
  • Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge with invoicing verification
  • Ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously with a team focus in order to participate in and contribute to team objectives
  • A current motor vehicle driver's license
