We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Curriculum Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on curriculum development and implementation, with a focus on Aboriginal Education.
The role requires strong knowledge of curriculum reform processes, syllabus development, and assessment strategies. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in education or a related field, and demonstrate contemporary knowledge of current trends and issues in Aboriginal Education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-level advice and expertise on Aboriginal Education as it relates to curriculum reform;
- Managing curriculum and assessment projects across multiple Key Learning Areas;
- Establishing and managing writing teams to develop support materials for various syllabus areas;
- Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities, NESA committees, and educational agencies;
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to contribute to the development of high-quality curriculum resources that support student learning and achievement.
The successful candidate will be employed on a full-time basis for up to 12 months, with potential for extension or conversion to ongoing employment.
