Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to lead organisational programs that reduce risk to the community from bush fire and other emergencies.

The role will work in collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure successful operational outcomes for the Area.

This includes ongoing employment, a full-time role, and 35 hour working week, as well as opportunities for ongoing learning and development.

About The Role

  • Lead and support strategic organisational programs to mitigate risks and improve community safety.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage risks and enhance community resilience.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect communities from bush fires and other emergencies.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Identify and assess risks to community safety, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
