Job Title: Land C4 Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced risk management professional to join our dynamic team in the Land Command, Control, Communications and Computing (Land C4) Program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to demonstrate sound judgement in professional settings and provide advice and contesting views in a respectful manner.

The successful candidate will work closely with other parts of Army and Defence to deliver and sustain the Land C4 Capability System (LC4CS) for the land force. They will also be responsible for:

  • Coordinating maintenance of risk management documentation, including risk management plans and registers;
  • Interpreting currency and accuracy of risk management information, recommending approaches for risk identification/analysis/treatment/control;
  • Identifying common and strategic risks and issues.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A relevant qualification in risk management or a related field;
  • Experience providing advice and contesting views in a respectful manner;
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team;
  • Adaptable, resilient and flexible in response to changing priorities.

About the Role

This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance of risk management documentation, interpreting currency and accuracy of risk management information, and identifying common and strategic risks and issues.
