Senior Nurse Infection Control Specialist

This position requires a skilled nurse to support quality, risk and infection control initiatives.
The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to collect data, KPIs and clinical indicators, adhering to National Quality Safety Healthcare Standards (NSQHS) and ACHS Accreditation System.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality and infection control procedures
- Contribute to data collection and analysis, identifying areas for improvement
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of NSQHS and ACHS Accreditation System
- Conduct thorough audits and surveillance as required
- Provide education and training to staff on relevant topics
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- At least 5 years post-graduate experience in Infection Control and/or Quality Management
- Experience working in an acute setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering high standards of clinical care
- Strong computer literacy including MS Office and databases
- Able to work effectively within a team environment
