Job Title: Infection Control Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Infection Control Coordinator. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining infection prevention and control programs to ensure safety and quality within our hospital. They will act as a resource for all clinical and non-clinical departments in areas related to infection control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain infection prevention and control programs to ensure safety and quality within the hospital.
  • Act as a resource for all clinical and non-clinical departments in areas related to infection control.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to infection control.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
  • Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices.
  • Liaise with external agencies to stay up-to-date with the latest infection control guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse.
  • Previous experience within Infection Control or an active desire to enhance and develop Infection Control skills.
  • High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work as a motivated, enthusiastic, and positive role model for all clinical and non-clinical disciplines and services within the hospital environment.

Working Requirements:

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
