Your Role in Making a Difference

Reporting to the Home Care Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering personalized care and services to clients, assisting them in maintaining their well-being and independence in their own homes for as long as possible. This position allows you to foster enduring, trusting relationships with clients and create a meaningful impact in their lives each day.

Daily Responsibilities as a Home Support Worker

Your daily tasks may include:

  • Assisting clients with morning routines and evening preparations
  • Supporting with grocery shopping and meal preparation
  • Monitoring and managing medication schedules
  • Facilitating appointments and transportation
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized living environment
  • Providing companionship and encouragement for hobbies and interests

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a compassionate and dependable individual who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, preferably with experience in the health or aged care sector. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A nurturing and empathetic demeanor
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • A positive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A valid driver's license
  • Access to a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
  • A current First Aid and CPR certification
