About the Role
At Regis Aged Care, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and services that meet the individual needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist residents with their meals and snacks, and ensure they have access to a balanced and nutritious diet.
- Support residents with their mobility and mobility aids, and assist with transfers and repositioning.
- Provide social and emotional support to residents, including engaging in activities and conversations that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care.
Requirements
- Cert III or higher in Individual Support or related studies such as nursing.
- Experience in a personal care role in Aged Care (desirable).
- Commitment to a holistic care approach and supporting residents to achieve their goals and support their needs.
