Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to design, implement and optimize high-performance data systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ETL development, proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python, and strong SQL skills.

  • Design and implement efficient ETL processes using diverse data sources including SQL databases and flat files.
  • Manage structured data and metadata efficiently, utilizing tools for querying, reporting, data mining, and OLAP.
  • Oversee data cleansing and enrichment processes, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
  • Develop scalable data pipelines, conduct ETL testing and validate data flows.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ETL development.
  • Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MonetDB, T-SQL).
  • Experience with Hive/Py Spark.
  • Familiarity with SCM/CI tools like SVN, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
