Data Engineer - Design, Implement and Optimize Data Systems


About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, implement and optimize data systems. This is a full-time position that requires strong technical skills and experience in designing and implementing data architectures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data architectures, including databases and processing systems.
  • Integrate data from various sources and ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Optimize data pipelines for scalability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes and data transformation solutions.
  • Apply data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide effective data solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Java.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
  • Working knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
